Say YES to the World's Largest Backpacker Hostel in Chippendale

There's a proposal to convert the Telstra building on Broadway into a backpacker hostel with 1064 beds.

This is the perfect place to put more people, it's 5 minutes walk from Central and we know if we don't build hostels the people who'd use them instead overflow into sharehouses and other parts of the residential market.

This is being vigorously opposed by local NIMBYs who don't want "transient visitors" in their community who'll bring "increased bike traffic" and "erosion of neighbourhood cohesion" so we need your help to get it built!

Coffs Harbour has the Big Banana. Goulburn has the Big Merino. Let's put Chippendale on the map by building the Big Backpacker Hostel.
