Mosman has been in the media complaining about their housing targets. A local named Judith Pearson is spending $500,000 taking the state government to court over it. She says in the SMH:
“Someone asked me if [the court challenge] is about being ‘entitled’ and my reply to that was: ‘Yes, we are entitled because we’ve worked hard to live here’. I am entitled to live here.

But Mosman Council's 5 year housing target is only 500 homes, despite being one of the most expensive places in the city. Canterbury-Bankstown is 14,500, Blacktown is 24,100.

They have averaged 37 dwellings per year going back to 2001 - it's time for them to pull their weight and contribute to resolving Sydney's housing crisis.
